Hand cream, the no. 1 product

Regular hand care is an important part of our everyday routine, a fact that has been known to Herbio customers for a long time. Herbal hand cream, being our top selling product every year, is the proof of that.

Our hands are often exposed to external environmental factors, such as cold, wind, sun, the use of cleaning agents, and lately, frequent washing and disinfection, which have become inevitable. We quickly start noticing the signs of dehydrated, dry, rough, and cracked skin. Therefore, it has become increasingly important to expand our hand care routine, adding extra nourishment.

 

Washing

It is recommended to use mild liquid soaps. Wash your hands with warm water. After washing, dry them well.

The correct washing routine, step by step:

  • Wet your hands under running water.
  • Apply a sufficient amount of liquid soap.
  • Thoroughly scrub all parts of your hand, spaces in between your fingers, the thumb, and the back of your hand.
  • Rinse your hands thoroughly with water.
  • Dry them well with a paper towel.
  • Turn the tap off with the paper towel.

 

Hand cream

We recommend you apply a nourishing hand cream, Herbal hand cream or Everyday cream, every time after washing your hands. Since that is almost an impossible task, apply it as often as possible, to nourish, hydrate and protect your skin.

Washing your hands in the correct manner and regularly contributes to our health as well as of those around us.

 

Additional care

Once a week, devote more time and extra care to your hands. Massage your hands with a nourishing cream you can enrich with a couple of drops of jojoba or almond oil.
Apply a considerable amount of the cream, Juniper ointment, and cover with plastic gloves. Leave them on for an hour, letting your skin soak the cream. We recommend use before sleep, giving the active ingredients more time to work their magic.

When you are dealing with cleaning agents or doing work that can damage the skin on your hands, do not forget to use protective gloves. One should also wear gloves when the weather is cold, for it additionally dries the skin.
If your nails are fragile, apply the cream to them as well. Almond oil, with added lemon drops, is a great solution too. A regular diet with sufficient contents of vitamins and minerals is a big contributor to healthy nails. Enrich your diet with food supplements, for example Coenzyme Q10, but be patient for the effects aren’t visible overnight.
